　This video was edited in the United States by a Vietnamese woman. You know that when you
look at the title under the English one. First I didn't understand what language it was, so I checked
it up on the Internet. I asked the computer, which answered it was Vietnamese.
　When I first saw this video, I thought it was shot by an Asian woman. But the atmosphere of the
video was quite different from the ones made by Chinese people. I soon understood that the
woman who adopted the little puppy was warm-hearted. I guess the dog was a breed of Jack
Russell Terrier, but she didn't have whiskers around her mouth. The new owner of the little girl
says that she likes gardening, so the puppy will be treated gently and have a happy life with her.
Well, just a moment. Jack Russell Terrier doesn't necessarily have wiskers. She might be a pure
breed. I wonder if she didn't have a microchip. The woman should ask the vet to check it up.



They usually let me know how much electricity bill I have to pay toward the end of each month.
For example, I paid \4,777 in May, \5,512 in June, \9,739 in July. In August I'll have to pay more.
I've been turning on the air-conditioner almost every day for 24 hours. It's been incredibly hot
this summer, so I've got to do it to keep myself in good health. So I guess that the electricity bill
for August will be nearly \15,000. Oh, I'm going to lose a fortune this year. Please God help me.

　I said I've been using the air-conditioner for almost 24 hours every day, but actually I've used it
for about 22 hours every day. Of course, when I went out for shopping, I turned it off. When I was

bill. Now I'm staying home every day, which makes me use the air-conditioner too much. Perhaps

from Japan. It's true China, Korea, and some fishermen's associations in Fukushima have been
against the throwing away of drainage into the ocean. I think the Chinese government is looking down
on Japan because Japan is just a small country and it can't behave against China.

　Do you know the Chinese government restarted group tours to Japan the day before yesterday. If
it really wants to maintain a friendly relationship with Japan, they should know how to behave in a
fair way. It blames Japan for poisoning the sea. Then who started COVID-19 and made it prevail all
over the world? They never think over what they do and they blame other countries for doing
something wrong. We have nuclear plants because we need them, but why do they own not a few
nuclear weapons? China is the country that poisons the atmosphere of the earth.

Some mysterious facts are being revealed now. There was a rumor that the interpreter Ippei
Suzuki would be fired sooner or later. The reason might have been that Ippei knew too much about
the relations between Shohei Ohtani and the Angels. Well, MLB was just a buisiness after all.

　We'll know some of the most important facts later. I didn't understand why the MLB commissioner
often say something rude about Shohei Ohtani. They don't want any more Ichiro's or Matsui's in

　There are some good people and bad people in both America and Japan. It's true that in America
there are so many baseball fans who are extremely happy to support Shohei Ohtani. At the same
time, there are some mean people in Japan who say every bad thing about Shohei. Anyway I really
hope that Shohei will never try too hard and that he'll take good care of himself. We'd like to see
you hit home runs and run around as fast as you can for more years to come.




In this morning's game with the New York Mets, Ohtani walked three times, a grounder to first,
a double to the right field. The double flew like a missile. He didn't look as if he had no injuries.
Now that Trout is in the Injured List again, it's quite natural of the team to give up the pennant race.
But Ohtani is not that type of a baseball player. He'll never give up and try his best to show his best
performances. The manager Nevin and the general manager Minasian say that they're sorry for what
happened to Ohtani. But is that true? They know that they're going to be fired after this season is
over. The owner Moreno will possibly sell the team to someone else. The last scheme they want to
put into practice is to make another year's contract with Ohtani for about 4 billion yen. They can do
it because now that Ohtani has got UCL injury [a torn ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in his right
elbow], there will be less and less teams that want to pay him a surprising sum of contract money.
I may be wrong in thinking this way, but I'm sure the top people of the team are only interested in
protecting themselves. Shohei Ohtani is now a great hiro on the history of MLB. Do you think they
want to be written as war criminals on just one page of the great baseball history?

　The rescuer found her lying on the road, not moving at all. Perhaps he thought she was dying.
Something must be wrong with her because she couldn't even drink water. So he hurriedly drove
to the emergency vet clinic. According to the X ray, it turned out that she had eaten lots of junks.
After staying at the clinic for a few days, there was a lucky call to the rescuer. Now it was OK for
him to take the little princess back home. When they came home, he gave her some food and this
time she started to eating it slowly. He felt relieved to see her having a good appetite. After the
dinner, she took a warm bath. The rescuer found that there was a very white puppy in front of him.
All the fleas on her body were washed away by shampooing and she was refreshed. She started
to eat again. Now she understood that she was in a safe place and the rescuer was a gentle man.
　The next day the rescuer took her out for a walk. At first she was afraid of walking outside, but
soon she got used to it. She met a lot of new Paw Squadron friends in the park. It seemed that
she was having a great time. Actually her poor life had completely changed. Soon she'll be ready
for adoption. I hope a new loving family will like her and she'll be adopted in the near future. God
bless the little girl. I wish her a lot of happiness and good luck. I hope she'll be in good health for
a long time. Lastly I'd like to thank the rescuer to find her on the road and take her to the vet ASAP.

Just before 2 o'clock in the morning, I woke up and turned on TV and started watching the MLB
baseball game between the Angels and the Mets. The Angels lost the close game and they couldn't
sweep the three successive games with the New York Mets. It seemed that the Mets had a similar
problem to the Angels. They often lose games that they have to win. They can't get the biggest
chances they happen to have. The only difference between the two teams is that the traditional
team in New York has already given up going on to the post season this year. The Angels pretend
not to have given up their dream of taking part in the post season.

　Shohei Ohtani didn't make any hits this morning, but the good news is that he was OK after playing
in the game. I was very much worried to see his powerful swings. You don't have to play with 100%
energy of yours. You've always been playing with 120% energy of your own. If you want to keep on
your pro baseball career for a long time, you sometimes have to play with 60-80% of your energy.

My father was a poor farmer. My mother was born in a poor fishing village in Tateyama, Chiba
Prefecture. After she married my father, she also became a farmer. Once she told me that she had
a very hard time working on a farm. My father was also born to a poor family. Because his parents
didn't have enough money to let him go to school, after he graduated from an elementary school,
he had to start working as a farmer. His dream was to work for the Japanese National Railways, but

should have a little bit behind the Bambino. Of course I'm happy to know there are many more
people who cheer for Shohei Otani. They're not interested in Ohtani's nationality, because we're
not during the Pacific War. The MLB commissioner is a kind of racialist, I believe.

　However Shohei is unbelievable. So many fans still back him up, saying that he's decided to go
on playing for his fans and that he's such a great guy they have never seen. Some Americans
don't like him because he's an Asian superhero, but many more fans, young and old, men and
women, Americans and Japanese, like him because they believe Shohei is a superhero who comes
from the outer space. He's a baseball player coming from the outer space? That's very funny.

　The little boy/girl was wandering near the big truck. When the rescuer tried to get closer to
the puppy, she was still afraid of human begings. But while he/she was eating some paste food,
he/she felt relieved with the rescuer. After coming home with the rescuer, he/she took a warm
bath and ate a proper dinner. The next day the rescuer took him/her to the vet clinic. It seemed
that nothing was wrong with his/her health. I wish a lot of good luck and happiness will come to
the little puppy. As I told you last time, I think she's a Vietnamese living in the United States.

　You may find a lot of stray cats and dogs wherever you may go in this world. Especially I'm very
sorry for the kittens and puppies left on the street alone, wandering for food and water. There are
even some people who can hardly get enough clean water and food. I can't say, "You're wrong in
not giving tiny creatures food and water. Think about their happiness." No, I can't. I hope the days
will come when there are less and less kittens and puppies and we don't have to worry about their
lives. Every creature on the earth has a certain right to live happily with friends.

The electricity bill for August turned out to be \10,360 this morning. It was much cheaper than
I had expected. It's burning hot today too. It's been such an incredibly hot summer. I guess it will
last until the end of next month September.

　This morning the Angels had a game with the Philadelphia Phillies. They lost the game by 4-6.
Shohei Ohtani made just one hit out of 4 at-bats. Still something must be wrong with his elbow,
but he seemed to be doing his best. There was a sad piece of news. Yu Darvish of the San Diego
Padres had inflammation of his right elbow and got into the Injured List for 15 days. You remember
they participated in the WBC games early this spring. I guess it affected many of the participants.
Trout was one of them. Both Ohtani and Darvish were among them. They were so much tired from
an early stage of this season. What do you think? Do you think I'm right in saying this?

　I used to be the manager of the school's softball team. I remember I was always screaming at the
cute girls on my team. That's why there were not many students who wanted to start playing softball
on my team. However those who entered the team didn't complain about the hard practice I gave
to them. Why couldn't I say to them, "The most important thing is to enjoy softball. Win or lose, that's
not an important question. Never mind even if you make many errors. You just have to try to become
better next time. Playing softball is a lot of fun." Now I'm talking to the girl players in the past.

　Shohei Ohtani is a professional baseball player. Nobody denies he's one of the best players in the
Major League. However I'd like to say to him, "Never put too much burden on your shoulders. The

It seems that the 9th graders of the junior high school where I used to work in Ebina City are
on the school trip to Nara and Kyoto now. Today's the second day where they went around the

Celcius. Were they OK walking under the incredibly hot sunshine? Some schools tend to have
strict rules that prohibits the kids from stopping at convenience stores or buying drinks at the
vending machines. Sometimes playing it by ear is quite important. I want them to learn that.

　Tomorrow is the last day. Some schools let the students visit some more places that they couldn't
go to on the second day. Other schools let the students visit faraway places in classes. The plans
are different from school to school. Anyway I hope they'll be back to Ebina City tomorrow safely. It
was cloudy today and tomorrow it'll be a sunny and hotter day. Take good care of yourselves, kids.

Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida announced that the price of gas will be about \175 a litter.
He thinks it's a reasonable price. Is he stupid? Does he want many drivers not to use their cars too
often? How about the electricity bill or the gas bill? Prices are getting higher and higher and now it's
very hard for us to live our daily lives. We don't want rich lives. We just want to live ordinary lives.

　Mr. Kishida is a prime minister, so maybe he has never been shopping at a supermarket. I think
the statesman should know how we live our everyday lives. How much is lettuce? How much is a

The MLB game between the Angels and the Phillies started early this morning at 2:05. The Angels
won the game by 10-8. In the game Hunter Renfroe hit his 19th home run, although the team told
the press that he had been waived. He looks like Trout and has been loved by many Angels fans.
He's a professional baseball player, so he's not going to blame his "former" team in public. So his
inner voice appeared as the homer in the game. "Recently I was no good, but I've been trying my
best by taking part in the games constantly. Why don't you fire Rendon instead? He seldom plays."
I feel as if I could read his mind. I wish you good luck and health on the next team. Being waived by
the Angels is, in a sense, lucky news for you, because they're as evil as Devil. No good for anybody.

Welcome back from Kyoto. The 9th graders of the junior high school I belonged to until the end
of this April have just been to Kyoto on their school trip. Maybe now they're relaxing themselves at
home, or incredibly studying at juku school. Tomorrow they will take a compensatory day off. The
day after tomorrow is Saturday. They're lucky. They must have been quite busy getting ready for
the school excursion, because their summer vacation came to an end on the previous day. I don't
know if their schedule was right or not. The end of August in Kyoto is too hot for sightseeing trips.



　If I had been a student, I would have enjoyed eating and shopping at the Kyomizuzaka Slope.
Most of the shop people would let us try a piece of food they sell. You'll be full when you reach
the top of the slope. It's a good idea, right? I also like the Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama. The
area has a lot of delicious restaurants. If you visit the area in late fall, you'll be able to enjoy the
very beautifully colored leaves, but most schools never visit Kyoto around that season.

　One of the best souvenirs to buy along the Kiyomizuzaka Slope is incense. It smells so good
that you can feel that you're really in Kyoto. There are some different types of smells which will
all make you feel consoled. It's not so expensive, so why don't you try it at home. Recently the
Kiyomizudera Temple is a very popular spot illuminated very beautifully. But students can't go
there at night as part of a school trip. Many tourists come and wait in a long line.

My most memorable school trip was the one we made in 2015. I forgot where I preserved the
photo data, but it's OK. On my website, I've made special pages for the school excursion. You
need to enter the special password to open the pages. You can get the password in return for
the email sent to me. I made a very long password because there are so many clear photos of
my students. Our most impressive place was the Ohara Sanzen-in Temple.




　The Sanzen-in Temple is on top of a hill and there's a long slop toward the gate. At the foot of
the slope there used to be some small shops. One of the shops was an "okaki (rice cookies)" shop
which was owned by an old couple. The shop owner became sick after we visited his shop on our
school trip, so it's been closed for several years. I was really sorry to find nothing around the area.
Some of my students bought a piece of extremely spicy "okaki," which made them so crazy. It
should have been one of their good memories, though.

　It was may when we visited the temple. So it was a little too early for beautiful hydrangeas. They
are as beautiful as the blue sky. Of course may is a little too late for cherry blossomes. The cherry
blossoms at the gate are called "weeping cherry trees." They bloom so beautifully at the end of
April. After leaving the temple, we moved on to a small temple nearby. We tasted "maccha" with
some Japanese cakes, which was a really impressive experience we had together. 8 years have
already passed since then, but the scenes of my kids still come back to me very clearly.

　At present I don't know where my photo data is, but I was lucky I made special memory pages
in the year 2015. Now I have the least possibility of taking the external hard disk to the electronics
retail store and ask them if they could take the photo data out of the hard disk. If it takes too much
money, I wouldn't ask them to do so. All the photos I used for my website are good enough.

　This time the two brothers or two sisters or a brother and a sister were rescued while they
were wandering near the river. It seemed that they were looking for something to eat under the
big cart. There were some garbage boxes near them, but eating from there was no good for the
health. Soon Chibi took them to a safer place and gave them some food and water. After that
she took them to the vet clinic, but nothing seemed to be wrong with their health. Now it was
time for them to go home together. They looked very clean. They must have taken a warm bath
soon after they came home. After that they enjoyed a proper dinner and maybe now they're
ready to go to bed. First I thought they were twin brothers or sisters, but when I look at them
very carefully, they looked a little bit different from each other. Just brothers or sisters or a
brother and a sister, I'm not sure. Thank you, Chibi, for bringing them home safely.

　I don't know if Chibi-san lives in America or Vietnam. I'm sure she's a Vietnamese, because
she uses the Vietnamese language. How did I know that? I copied the unknown sentence and

I've been staying inside the house that is air-conditioned well, so I don't know if it's a little
cooler outside. But the sky I can see through the large window of the living room makes me feel
it's getting cooler just like a fall weather. So I went back into the bedroom and opened the large
window a little to feel the outside air. It was still so hot although it's toward nearly 5 o'clock in
the evening. We're still in the middle of hot summer. I guess it'll last until the end of this month.
　This has nothing to do with the season when it's easy to get hungry, but recently I've been gaining
weight little by little. Is it because I stopped taking an evening walk? Every morning I step on the
scale to record how much I weigh, so I can see the little difference from day to day. This morning
I weighed 68.2kg. Two months ago I weighed 67.8kg. If I get heavier than this, my diabetes will be
worse. It's a very big and serious problem, isn't it? But to tell the truth, about 10 years ago I weighed
as much as 86.0kg, which was about 18kg heavier than now. Incredible situation, right?
　Should I go for an evening walk again? Yes, I think so. It's 17:03 at present. Good time to start.

I've just come back from an evening walk. I've been walking an extra long course and I made
friends with some dogs on the way. They were so cute and friendly to me. They knew I liked dogs.
Dogs are so smart that they can read human mind and feel our heart. I was a little tired, but I really
enjoyed walking in a cool fall breeze. But after walking a lot I sweated much. It was humid again
when I went shopping at a supermarket, Of course it was cool enough inside the supermarket.

　I'm sorry to say this, but I can't trust Chinese people even if they're in a group trying to save poor
puppies in an abandoned factory. All three puppies were girls. They look so cute in the rescuer's
arms. They might feel as if they were held in their mother's arms. The rescue team waited for their
mother to appear, but she never showed up. After that they gave some milk to the puppies, but it
didn't look like proper milk. Was it proper liquid food? I wanted them to give them milk from feeding
bottles. That's what I hate about Chinese people. Why don't they respect small lives?
　Well, I may be wrong in thinking that Chinese people can't be trusted. Now is the time when China
and Japan aren't in good relations with each other. But there's a rumor that a lot of Japanese
statesmen have some favorable relations with the Chinese government. That's why they look down
on Japanese people. Some of the important people are like faithful dogs for China. Have you heard
the news telling there aren't enough seafood in China because they prohibited its people from
importing poisoned seafood from Japan. Why do they do that? The other day they admitted group
tours to Japan, but now they're thinking of stopping that again. Can you believe in them?

　However the three puppies were lucky enough to be rescued by the Chinese rescue team. I think
the government support them and help them financially so that they can get better food for stray
puppies. I hate Chinese people, but dogs have no nationalities. They should be treated fairly.

　I'm not sure if she was just a stray dog or she ran away from a house. The rescuer thought that
she had been a yard dog because she was so well-behaved. She was not afraid of people. Is that
OK for the rescuer to have taken her back home? Someone might have been looking for her for a
while. Anyway I don't quite understand the exact situation, but maybe the rescuer was right in
doing so. She soon fell in love with the rescuer and his baby. The rescuer and his baby also loved
the puppy. Is that really OK that someone might like her and adopt her? She looks like such a good
girl. I hope she'll be able to stay at the rescuer's house forever and grow up with his baby.

Today's Sunday, so I think I'm going to the barber's after eating breakfast. Is the barber fine?
He's been taking care of my hairstyle since I was a little boy. He used to be a tough guy who ate
and drank a lot when he was younger. But now he's so old that I don't know how long he'll be
able to work as a barber. There are many more cheap barber shops around here, but I'm not going
to change barber shops. I hope he'll be fine and take care of my hair for a long time
　My haircut's so simple. I just want my hair short. I have no special preferences with my hairstyle.
If I ask him to cut my hair short, I don't have to go to the barber's often. Will he get angry to hear

What's so good about Maru-chan is that even when she's along, she doesn't complain about the

you must remember her younger days whe she was always crying. You miss her days as a baby.
Is that right? (Both Hana-chan and Maru-chan are like Mom and Dad's lovable babies. When we

　Thank you for watching our video. Maru has been growing up gradually before we knew and that's
what we're impressed and feel happy about, but it's true that we miss Maru when she was a baby

I'm looking forward to going on a to Kyoto at the end of next November. Last night I checked up
some tours around the same period and found that most of the tours were getting more and more
expensive. My tour will cost me \34,400, but the cheapest tour that I could reserve is \35,400.
Cheap tours will be full gradually, so the cheapest trip will get more and more expensive soon.

　By the way, have you ever been up to the observation deck of Kyoto Tower? I wanted to climb up

be able to go to the observation deck of the Tokyo Skytree. I can't even imagine that.
　As for Kyoto Tower, I wanted to try my nerve. So one day I bought a ticket to the observation deck.

down. It was so scary, but if I didn't look straight down, I felt a little bit safer. I should try to see far.
Then I didn't feel I was on top of a high tower and looking around. Never look down, or I'll feel dizzy.



But the scenery I could see from the deck was so fine. Now that I've been to the deck for some
times, I like it so much. Next November I think I'm going to go up there too. Not to change the
subject, but do you know there are some good restaurants in the basement of Kyoto Tower? I
visited one of the Japanese restaurants a few times. The food they served me in that shop was
so delicious. But the first floor and the basement were reconstructed some years ago, so I'm not
sure if I'll be able to find the restaurant again. I'd like to look for it next time I go there.

《He Cried For Help and Couldn't Move Until Someone Finally Heard Him》
　We received a call from a distant small village around 200 km from Sofia, Bulgaria where locals
have seen several small puppies wandering alone near a dangerous highway. They have seen them
searching for food and water with no big dogs around them, meaning they were either abandoned
or lost stray dogs. We found and rescued Derek successfully after we saw him and then we saw
another puppy nearby, however, he/she ran off and we were not able to rescue it. Derek is overall
healthy, however, his latest lab tests showed that he has Giardia. So, he will stay with us and we
will treat him with antibiotics until he is better.

　Bulgaria is a country which is located on the coast of the Black Sea, which is close to the Ukraine.
The rescuer found a little boy around a small village and named him Derek. At first he was scared
of people and tried to play dead so that he might not be caught. Finally he was caught by the rescuer
and was taken to the vet clinic. He was suffering from Giardia, but other than that he was OK. Then
the rescuer took him home and gave him dinner. It must have been his first proper meal. He finished
his plate quickly, which meant he was starving. After he filled up his stomach, he took a warm shower.
He was shampooed well and got clearned up. He'll stay at the rescuer's for a while until his Giardia
was fully treated and he'll look for a new home and a loving family who will be happy to adopt him.

I was sleeping in the evening and I didn't go out for a walk today either. I know I have to have
enough exercises in order to lose weight. Losing weight is my most important job to do. That's why
I have to take an evening walk every day. But very interestingly I eat a lot during the day. I'm trying
not to eat much at night, though. I eat breakfast around 8 o'clock and lunch at 12 noon and the
second lunch at about 3 o'clock. Not too much for each meal, but I wonder if I should eat dinner
now because I didn't go for a walk this evening.

《Tiny Puppy Gets Rescued and Thinks I am His Dad》
　We found this tiny puppy after receiving an emergency call from one of our followers who saw
an abandoned dog wandering around a semi-remote area near a city on the coast of the Denube
river. He reported seeing other puppies as well, however, we only managed to find Tiny Tim :)

　The rescuer found the little boy under an abandoned car. He was such a tiny puppy as big as a
palm that he might not have survived without the rescuer's help. He named him Tim and gave him
a little food and water. After coming home he took a warm bath and then had a proper dinner. He
met Arra after that and then he felt relaxed thanks to Arra. The next day the rescuer took Tim to
the vet clinic and the doctor found nothing wrong about his health.
　For the first few hours after being rescued, he looked so scared. Because he was afraid of people
and he was all alone without anyone around him. But now he has a new friend at home and he's
loved by people around him, so he looks much happier than before. I hope he'll be able to find a new
loving family who are willing go adopt him ASAP. Please God help him.

　I appreciate their rescue work, but I don't want them to throw dogfood on the street. They
might have a different sense of value, but if you respect a stray dog as an important life, you
wouldn't throw or scatter food before the wandering puppy. It seemed that they prepared a
plastic box to put food and water, but basically they should carry differnet bowls for food and
water. Am I saying anything wrong? I can't trust people who throw food.
　Every time I refer to Chinese people, I know I sound a mean guy. But I don't believe they're
really trying hard to rescue stray animals. If they really think of poor stray dogs, I think they'll
do something different. I know I have to thank them for saving small puppies, but....

　It's been a long video, but thank you for watching it. The little girl was so lucky to be found while
hiding in an abandoned house. There was no food and water there, so if the rescuer couldn't find
her at that time, she wouldn't have had any chances to survive. She drank only a little water, but
she didn't accept any food. The rescuer was worried about her health, so he hurried to the vet
clinic with her. Quite interestingly she suddenly got fine when she entered the consultation room.
The vet everything about her health and found that she had Giardia, which could be cured by
medication. The doctor smiled when he first saw the little lady. He soon knew there was nothing
serious about her. There was no other problem about her health, so they went home.
　At home there was another tiny girl waiting for them. The two girls soon got friendly with each
other. They had a proper dinner together and maybe after this they took a warm bath. The next
day they went to the park with the rescuer and enjoyed belly rubs and cuddles. They were so active
and the rescuer must have been extremely happy to see them so playful.
　Paw Squadron has a lot of branches all over the world. The former video was shot in Bulgaria and
this video was shot in the United States. I'd like thank everybody in the organization for rescuing

There were two earthquakes in Chiba Prefecture. The seismic intensity of the two earthquakes
which occurred successively was both 3. The second one happened soon after the first one in the
same region, which made us feel scared a bit. The exact epicenter of them was the northwest part
of Chiba Prefecture. The depth was about 70km. Chiba is one of the most dangerous areas where
great earthquakes might happen. Especially the area off the coast of Chiba Prefecture is called a
blank area where great earthquakes haven't occurred for many years. It means that a lot of energy
for the great earthquake has been piled up in that area. We've got to be very careful.

How can you imagine you try to send a creature by mail? This is China. Anything could happen.

Yesterday I received an envelope from the Mutual Association Kanagawa Branch. It was about
monthly payment for health insurance. A month ago the same envelope was delivered to my house
and I called the branch office to ask why they sent it to me. The woman in charge cheked what was
wrong with my case and told me that my application form for account transfer hadn't been arrived
at the relevant department in Tokyo. It was a very big mistake that the bank had made. So the bank
talked to the Kanagawa Branch about it and everything should have been done to slove the problem.

　Then why did the same notice delivered to my house yesterday? I called the branch this afternoon
and the man in charge checked out my situation and found that the bank was late in sending my
application form to the branch office in Yokohama. So my account transfer for September can't be
accepted this time again. OK, it's a waste of time if I keep on complaining about the problem, so I
decided to go to the Mizuho Bank Chigasaki Branch tomorrow and pay the fee for September. What
do you think? I applied for account transfer in May this year. How long do they need to accept the

I've just been to the garbage collection site, because today's one of the two burnable garbage
days of a week. I didn't know this until I got out of the door, but it was cooler outside. It was just
like a day of fall. Usually it gets cooler at the end of September, but it's different this year. I was
thinking of going to the Mizuho Bank near Chigasaki Station, but it might not be a good idea to
do the job today. When I look at the sky with lots of dark clouds, I'm not sure that I'll be able to
avoid the sudden possible rainfall. I can do the job tomorrow too. I'll think about it.



I checked up the starting lineup of the Angels for today's game, but there was no name of
Shohei Ohtani in the list. Matt Thaiss will play as the designated hitter, so there will be a little
possibility of Ohtani's pinch-hitting. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but the manager Nevin says
Ohtani will surely be back on Saturday. Well, he doesn't know anything about Ohtani, physically
or mentally. One more sad news is that the outfielder Randal Grichuk has been placed again on
waivers maybe because the team doesn't want to pay luxury tax, which must be the owner's idea.

the last weekday of this week. The next chance when I go to the bank is next Monday, September
11, which I hope won't be too late. If I can't use the health insurance card until then, I won't be
able to go to the hospital tomorrow. Without the health insurance card, I'll have to pay as much as
about \100,000. Don't misunderstand that I forgot to pay the fee. I already applied for account

Where's Typhoon No.13 gone? It has changed into a tropical cyclone, but brought about lots of
heavy rain in Ibaraki, Chiba, and Fukushima.
　This morning I went to the Tobu Sogo Hospital to get periodic health examination. The diseases
I've been suffering from are "bipolar disorder" and "diabetes." So I have to see two doctors, the
psychiatrist and the diabetic tract medicine doctor. In order to visit both of the two sections, it
takes me about 4 to 5 hours and the total fee is more than \40,000. I have to go once in two
months. About \20,000 monthly. What a great expenditure!

On my way back home, I stopped at KFC and bought a lot for lunch, which cost me \2,100. I
can't complain about my medical expenditure now that I'm willing to pay as much as \2,100 for
my lunch. What a great expenditure! Well, it was OK, because I wanted to give some chicken to
Hana and Ryoma on the table. I mean before the portraits of deceased pet dogs, Hana and Ryoma.
It's very interesting that they look so hungry that they want to eat chicken. KFC is so yummy.



The photo in the right is the one I took this afternoon. Today's menu was a piece of original chicken
and a piece of crispy chicken. They were from the special anniversary set. There are some other
chicken available at KFC, but the original one tastes the best, I guess.

　We found and rescued Cutie after a signal about an abandoned puppy. After we arrived at the
location, it wasn't hard to spot him, as there were clear signs of dogs. 

　The rescue team found a tiny boy wandering alone. He had no food and water, so he was lucky
to be rescued by the team. They gave him some food and clean water and now they were on the
way back home. On the way they visited the vet clinic. He had a lot of fleas, but other than that
he was healthy. After coming home, they soon let him take a warm bath. He had a lot of fleas all
over his body, so they used a comb to scratch them off. He was now so cleaned up. After the
refreshing bath, he had a proper dinner. The next day they went to the park and enjoyed playing
together for a long time, and after that he met a friendly rabbit, Mrs. Bunny at home. He's now
waiting for a new loving home and a family. Please God bless the little boy.

This evening I went for a long walk after a while. I haven't been for a walk for about a week.
Maybe I was tired or I just didn't feel like going outside. And of course, it was partly because
Typhoon No.13 was getting closer to the Kanto District. If I lived near the beaches, I would be
able to walk along the beaches and enjoy breathing in a refreshing air coming from the ocean.
　In the middle of my walking course, there's a river running through Chigasaki City. It was a
very clean river when I was a little boy. I went into the river to catch crayfish as a bait for fishing.
Sometimes there was an eel living in the river. One day industrial wastewater from a paper factory
started to flow into the river. The riverwater gradually became dirtier day by day, and it was almost
impossible for creatures to live in the river. We also lost an important place to play in.
　When I was an elementary school kid, the riverwater was white, but now it's black. Still a lot of
carp live there. I'm so sorry for them. They need some cleaner water to live in. We've destroyed
precious nature in our hometown. We've been so stupid. We should have passed a clean river

It was said that he was found and terminated, but nobody's sure that it was true. America insisted
that Iraq had massive destruction weapons, but they couldn't find any. The war was a success or
not, you can't be sure. There are some people who say that the 9.11 attacks were made by the
U.S. government intentionally. It could be a reason to start war with Iraq. Is it a crazy idea?

Shohei Ohtani didn't play in the game between the Angels and the Cleveland Guardians this

　The rescuers got a call from a faraway village that there was a stry dog who needed help. They
soon hurried to the location. On the way they passed by some villages and finally they arrived at
the village where they found a stray puppy. It seemed that she used to be a yard dog, because she
was so friendly and used to people. Before getting home, they went to the vet clinic and the doctor
found she was in good health. Then she went home and took a warm bath to clean herself up. Then
she was given a proper dinner and then met a new friend, Arra. They soon became good friends.
Now she's looking forward to finding a good loving family. Please God help the little girl.

My ex-wife Kayoko and I used to have a happy time together for some years. We sometimes
went to Southern Beach Chigasaki and enjoy walking along the beach. Kayoko looked so happy
to be with Ryoma. I loved Kayoko and Ryoma so much, but maybe I was more interested in my
teaching job. Why didn't I think of Kayoko more seriously? I often let her take care of our dog
Ryoma. What was I doing? When she left me, she said, "You've been always thinking of your job.
I've been so lonely because you didn't come back home until late at night. (You didn't need me
any more, right?)" The last words in the parentheses did not come out of her mouth, but I'm
sure they were in her mind. I'm really sorry. She wanted go to Kyoto with me many times, but
I didn't try to. I was so busy taking care of the softball team on the weekends. What was my life
for? Who were my days for? Now I have to travel to Kyoto alone. I feel lonely instead of Kayoko.
It's impossible for her to be back. I really wish her a lot of happiness and good luck.




　They're no longer with me at present. But I still remember the good old memories that they gave
to me. The only good thing about me was to take a lot of photos of Kayoko and Ryoma and kept
the precious photos of theirs on my website. I've got the important data in a few devices so that
it may not go away. I really thank you, Kayoko and Ryoma, for giving me a lot of good time.

　I'm so sorry that I put your photo on my webpage without notice. When I was with you, I really
loved your facial expressions. You might deny that, but it's true. Now that you went away from me,
every photo of yours is a treasure of mine. Especially you look fine smiling at me in Kyoto.

This morning again Shohei Ohtani couldn't take part in the game with the Mariners. At first when
I checked the starting lineup of the Angels, the name of Shohei Ohtani was there. But just before
the game started, his name was moved out of the list. Something must have been wrong with his
right side. Once manager Nevin said the his injury was not so serious and that he'd be back after
a short while. Was he telling us the truth about Ohtani? Or was there any reason of telling a lie
about Ohtani's health? Do they already know that Ohtani will never play in a game any longer?

　Maybe the other members of the Angels thought that they'd have to do their very best instead of
Shohei Ohtani who had to take a long rest. Today the Angels won the game against the Mariners.
It seemed that they were really strong. When you feel someone very important is not by your side,
you must decide that you're the only one who could do the job. You're suddenly very courageous.
Some of the players who were once thrown away by the team did whatever they could do for the
team to win the game. I was very much impressed with their strong will. "I'll have to do it for the
team and our fans." I felt as if I could hear them shout out. Manager Nevin, GM Minasian, Owner
Moreno, did you see them fight for the team with your own eyes? What did you do to them?

He was always watching me secretly and wondered what I was doing without listening to him
during teachers' meetings. Maybe someone in the Ebina Board of Education realized what I was
doing during the working time and told that to the principal. One day he called me into his office
and tried to let me talk about everything I was doing. I was not a spy, but I just didn't want to
waste my time. I was just writing in my diaries both in Japanese and English. But the biggest
mistake I did was to uploaded the diaries. I just wanted to read the diaries at any time I liked.
Actually nobody else knew the existence of my diaries. I didn't want anybody to read them.
He asked my why I did that. I answered that I just wanted to brush up my English. Then he said
to me with some strong words, "Show me the diaries." It was impossible because they were not
written diaries. "I know an very good English teacher who is much better than you. Shall I call and
ask him to come and help me? If you didn't keep diaries to blame us and our school, you can show
them to me, right?" I just had to say, "I'm terribly sorry. I'll never do it again."

　Of course he didn't forgive me. He tried to do every wicked thing to me. He was trying to throw
me away from the grade I used to belong to. He never let me teach English. My health got worse
and worse, maybe because of both mental and physical reasons. That's why I quit the teaching
job at the end of April. Last year I was taking care of the International Class. A year ago, the
principal suddenly asked me to start the International Class. It was, in a sense, an interesting job
to do, but I also wanted to teach English to usual classes. I also wanted to have my own homeroom
class and wrote as many class letters as possible. Well, it's not fun to write any more about this.
I know I was wrong in doing things that the board of education prohibited us from doing. I'm not
going to blame the principal for giving me every odd job he could think of. Well, that's it.

The sum of money left in my bank account is getting smaller and smaller. It's quite natural
because I don't work any more. And this is the year after my last working year, I had to pay a lot
of money for various purposes. Next year my life is going to be a little easier, but I'm worried about
the sum of money which will be left in my bank account. However if I try to start working again. I'll
be in trouble again after the last working year. I doubt the government is going to make poor people
even poorer. What do you think? Do you think I should start doing a par-time job once again?

This morning I was shocked not to see Ohtani's name on the starting lineup. His injuries on his
right side might be more serious than we expect. And manager Nevin has been giving us false
information about Ohtani's physical condition, so that he might not be blamed for how cruelly he
has been using Ohtani. Maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, Shohei Ohtani will be in the
Injured List and most of those who may be concerned will ask for the press conferene to criticize
the top stupid three guys, manager Nevin, GM Minasian, and the owner Moreno. Do they really hope
that Ohtani will be staying on the Angels for at least one more year to come? That really is Mission
Impossible. They should ask Tom Cruise to come down to the stadium with a parachute to help them.
Maybe the idea should cost them a lot more than directly asking Ohtani to stay with them.



Are the Angels really going to trade Mike Trout if he wants to leave the team? If Trout leaves the
team, they'll have to pay him 47 billion yen. If they want to give Rendon a discharge notice, they'll
have to pay him 27 billion yen. Shohei will be transferred to maybe Los Angeles Dodgers for about
80 billion yen. And then the owner Moreno would ask himself, "Where have all of them gone?" And
one more thing. "Where has all my money gone?" Everything and everyone will go away from him.

　I wonder what the Angels' fans react to all these things. Will they stop visiting the Anaheim Stadium?
Will they stop cheering for the Angels? Instead will they cheer for Shohei Ohtani at his new team?
Many people think that Ohtani will join the Los Angeles Dodgers, but others say that the Dodgers
have changed their mind and try to get Yoshinobu Yamamoto instead. Because Ohtani will never be
able to pitch durin the next season, but Yamamoto will do incredible jobs like Ohtani. I understand
that. However they've been asking Shohei Ohtani to come to Los Angeles, I don't want them to
change their mind. The manager Dave Roberts was born in Naha, Okinawa in 1972, the year when
it was returned to Japan. His mother was Japanese. So he'll be very friendly to Japanese players.
But the problem is if they can wait for Ohtani to come back to the picher's mound in 2025.



The man in the left is manager Dave Roberts, and the player in the right is Mookie Betts who is
a good friend of Ohtani's. If they play in the same lineup, most fans will be crazy about them.

I've just been for a long evening walk. I've been walking for 4 successive days, but I'm not sure
if I can keep on putting that into practice every day, because it's a little bit tiring. It's still humid
outside, so I can't stop sweat coming down my forehead. When it's get cooler, it'll be comfortable
to walk in a cool breeze. Today I met only a few dogs. I love dogs, so I want to meet more of them.
Shiba dogs are fine, but of course I welcome other breeds or mixed. These days I often see black
Shiba. They're very popular because they're so cute. I like both the red Shiba and the black Shiba.
The Shiba dog that I used to keep was a red Shiba. He was a very big and good-looking boy, so he
was very popular among many female dogs and people living nearby. Sometimes he was so big that
I was asked if he's an Akita dog. As an Akita dog he's too small. But somehow I was happy to hear
that. Because I'm a small guy, I like my dog very big. I still have lots of his photos.




　He was supposed to show up in the contest, but the guy who wanted to buy him suddenly
cancelled his order and he was on a public auction. Now it's against the law to sell and buy by
auction, but at that time it was OK. I made a tender of the cute dog and finally he came to my
home. We were so lucky to have such a nice Shiba dog.



　Like other dogs Ryoma loved walking in the snow. He also loved being cuddled. Especially he loved
to stay by my wife's side. He loved her so much. So when we got divorced, he must have been very
angry. I know it's too late to say this, but Ryoma, I was so sorry to let you say goodbye to your most
lovable woman in the world. She's having a happy time and always thinking of you.

　This is one of the most impressive videos that I have ever seen. I was also surprised that these
stray dogs have been rescued by the Ukraine rescue groups who themselves were having a hard
time surviving the war. We live in a peaceful country, Japan. A lot of Ukrainians ran out of their
home country to Japan. But they're not happy here because it's so different from Ukraine.
　Russia invaded you country and let the Ukrainians have a hard time living in their home country.
Now that you know what a hard life is, you also understand how the stray puppies feel when they
were separated from their mothers. At the age of 3 to 4 weeks, they need something to eat and
drink in the hot weather. It was surprising that just one hand of a woman tried to rescue as many
as 8 puppies. She took all of them into her car and took them all to the vet clinic. It must have
been a hard job to do. After leaving the clinic, she took the 4 boys and 4 girls to her home and
let them take a warm bath one by one. She looked like an angel and so did all the eight puppies.
